Hello Juergen
My name is Craig Dirksen. I live in Portland, Oregon, USA, which is on the Pacific Ocean north of California. My great-grandparents moved to the US from Moordorf, Ostfriesland in 1895. Their names were Roolf Roolfs and Antje Sartorius Dirksen. My grandfather Ralph Roolfs Dirksen was also born in Germany before the family emigrated. My father Edward was born in the state of South Dakota in 1916, on his parent's farm, where he lived along with his parents and 7 brothers and sisters, until he married. After my two sisters and I were born, when I was 5 years old, my father, mother, sisters and I moved to the west coast, where our family has lived ever since. My parents are dead now, I am 48 years old (and my sisters even older!), and my wife Jacqueline and I have two grown sons of our own, Christopher and Eric. We would very much enjoy hearing from you about your family and find out if we may be related!
