In Reply to: Blandine Dionne by Richard Baribeau of 1299

Cyprien and Sara had 6 children between 1852 and 1862 (Hélèna, Victor, Théodora, Ernest, Elisée, and Blandine), all born in Saint-Pascal, Kamouraska, except Helena who was born in Saint-Louis, Kamouraska.

Victor married Oliva Deshêtres (MA), Ernest married Julie Massé (ME). Blandine was born 14 June 1862, she could not have married in early 1870s.

Could it be that Michel Baribeau first married Theodora (she was born 1855), she died, and he then married Blandine. It was not that rare to marry twice of the same family. This would also explain an older daughter in the census as well as Joseph giving his mother as "Theodora".
