It seems that Albert Rexford Dewberry is the one who appears as Elbert Rexford Dewberry in WWI Draft Registration Cards in 1918. He gives as his date of birth: 15 February 1900; as his residence: Bromide, Johnston County, Oklahoma; and as his nearest relative his father William Dewberry. In the draft registration his race is 'white'. Albert and Emilia married 9 October 1922 in Easthampton, MA (source: BMS MRC Denis-Riverin, Quebec, Vol. III). In 1930 Emilia is living in Easthampton, Hampshire, MA with her parents Joseph and Angeline Dionne, as Amelia Dewberry (source: 1930 Census). She has two sons, George & Albert. Her civil status is married but her husband is not registered in the same household. In 1933 Easthampton City Directory, at the address 8 Norton ct, we find Elbert R. Dewberry (Melia M.). Obviously the same couple. In 1930 census, I also found Elbert R. Dewberry in Blandford, Hampden, MA. He is 30 years old, single, born in New Mexico, Spanish origin (!); occupation : mechanic at construction work. Sounds like the same Elbert... Looking forward to hearing your comments on all that!
