I have heard that there is Indian connection as well for the Dionne's. I am not sure how to trace it because the only person with answers to this question is my Grandpa and he is very ill. My Grandma told me that the Dionne's came across the ocean and settled in Canada. She said that when they came from france and settled there that they became "friendly" with the indians and that is how I have indian in me. Not sure how much truth is in that. My grandma also told me that my great grandma was an indian, but again....I don't know how to prove that.
