Paradise Lost

FYI...I have an old edition of John Milton's Paradise Lost, which belonged to my mother. She probably bought it at an antique auction in the 50's. We live in the Seattle area.

I thought you would be interested in the inscription in the front of the book. It reads....

From The "Orphans"
To
Their "Dad"
With best wishes.
June 16th.,1883

It is then signed...

Robert W. Gill(could be M.Gill or McGill)
Wm. Dinwoodie, M.N.( I think it's M.N. )
George Wyllie Jr.
Ias Bennett
Geo. Dinwoodie

Their handwriting is very elegant. Almost like Caligraphy.
Don't know if any of this info means anything to the Dinwoodie Family, but please send me an E-mail if it does.

P.S. I'm in the carwash business in Kirkland Wash. and my competetor in town is a man by the name of Mark Dinwiddie.
Kind of a coincidence, don't you think?

Kindest Regards

Steve Rall
