Jennifer, I love you. I think you may have just proved my point to my cousin who disagrees with me. This is a theory waiting to be proven, but I divided the 3 Williams in PA at about the same time. The oldest was said to be born in Ulster and came over with his mother, Sarah and 2 brothers Hugh & David. I believe his father was David who died in Ulster. He was born in 1726 and married Elizabeth McWilliams. The second Wm was son of James & Ann, immigrants & Uncle to the first Wm. I think he was probably born abt 1734. He married Esther Rankin. The 3rd is the one you just wrote about. I believe his father was William who was also a brother to James & David. Also another brother named Robert left all his possessions to your Wm and his two brothers, James & Henry. Does this make any sense? I'm so excited about this find. The Wm who married E. McWilliams is my ancestor. My cousin insists that our Wm is the one who married F. Hunter and that she was his 2nd wife. I have found no evidence of this, but can't convince her. I have a lot of info on all of them. BTW, be careful you don't get mine and yours mixed up. They were both in Bedford Co. about the same time. Mine is the one on Reedy Creek, I think. I'll be waiting for your answer. Joyce
