Your plans sound like GREAT fun, and I hope the reunion is NOT lonely! I would make plans to be there if we weren't moving this June AND I knew I was part of your clan! ;)
My great-great-grandmother was Elsie Lovina Dinwiddie, who married Richard R. Jones in Chicago in 1876. Her parents were John Wesley DINWIDDIE (b 1824 KY) and Elmira LASWELL (b 1828 IN). Her siblings were Mary Elizabeth (older, m a KELSHEIMER) and three younger brothers, William H., John Wesley, and Charles M. --skimpy information on the boys' marriages / children.
But I have heard of some "down-state" JONESes, so who knows? Is there somewhere online I can take a look at your ancestry/family tree?
