Pam, I think I can help you a you a little bit. I'm pretty sure that Sarah's father was Henry Dinwiddie, a son of William Dinwidddie from Ulster. He was born in Mercersburg, PA (present day Adam's Co.) about 1735 and died in Orange Co., N.C. abt 1795. I have found very little on this branch. I have a lot of info on his brothers William & James, but almost nothing on either he or his father. The father William would have been the immigrant.

I'll be glad to exchange anything I have. How long have you been into genealogy? This family can be very confusing although I think they are all related if you back far enough.
