Sonja, I’m hoping you will get with Tiss or me concerning your Dinwiddie post. I recently met Tiss in cyber space.. She has lots of Dinwiddie data. I’m not a direct line Dinwiddie but interested because my g-grandmother’s sister , Marcia Field Gregory married Wm. P. Dinwiddie. Wm. and Marcia had one son, Wm Henry Dinwiddie, born February 23, 1894. I know from pictures of Wm. P. Dinwiddie’s home in Omaha and the family in Calif., they were living in those areas before Wm. H. Died in 1926. I’m not certain whether Wm. P and Marcia lived in Calif. or were just visiting thier sons family,Christmas 1925 Marcia (Gregory) Dinwiddie’s family were lived in Macedonia, Iowa.. I found a Wm. Dinwiddie living in Macedonia, Ia 1880 (fitting Wm. P.’s discription) married with children Living with him and his family were his parents, (your Wm. And Mary). I have no documented proof but believe Wm. in IA. 1880 census is same Wm. P. who married (1893) Marcia. There is a young man with family in 1925 Calif. picture who is perhaps son of Wm. P.’s first marriage. Marcia Dinwiddie’s brother and sister (my g-grandmother) are buried in Silver City, Mills Co. Iowa. I’m certain that you and I have a connection... Please contact Tiss (Dinwiddie researcher) or me.. my e-mail is <NUTNNEW@ckt.net> Notify Administrator about this message?
