Hi Keli,

According to my records from "Dinsmoor-Dinsmore Family of Scotland, Ireland & America" by Leonard Allison Morrison, A.M. - - Henry Dinsmore died about 1846. He married Sarah Ross in 1806. It is recorded that Henry's father, Robert Dinsmore, is buried in the Beulah Cemetery, Churchill, Pittsburgh, PA. So I contacted the Beulah Presbyterian Church & they stated that Henry was buried there and died on 8/5/1846.
I visited the Beulah Cemetery on Oct. 14, 2004 and located the "Dinsmore-Henning" plots, (Lot 35). I did not find a headstone for Henry. I found stones for his wife, Sarah, daughter Sarah and a grandchild. The three (3) headstones were not in good condition.
I interpreted them as follows - - -
#1. Sarah, wife of Henry Dinsmore ( dates of birth & death not readable)
#2. Sarah, wife of Matthew Henning, daughter of Henry & Sarah Dinsmore. (birth date not readable) - Died _/_/1849.
#3. M_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _, Mathew & Sarah Henning, Born Mar 18, 1846 - - Died Sept 18 1849.
I took pictures of these stones. The pictures show a little more detail and I think I see for Sarah Henning a Birth date of - - Sept 23, 18_ _.
The Allegheny River Family Archives web site list the Henning child as "Martha Jane Henning, Born _/_/_, Died 18-Sep-1849."
I could not make out the name Martha Jane at the cemetery OR in the picture.
I could not find a headstone for Robert Dinsmore. Robert would be my GGGG grandfather. I am currently working with church members to see if Robert's plot location is known. Robert Dinsmore came to America from Ireland in 1790.
Henry's brother, Thomas, is my GGG grandfather. In 1810 Thomas & his brother Moses bought a tract of 400 acres in Greene county, PA (Richhill Twp) and moved there. Part of Thomas's farm is still in my family. Moses is buried on or very near this farm. Thomas is buried in the Braddock Cemetery, Graysville, PA (Greene Co).
The Beulah Cemetery has a very good web site at - - www.beulahpresby.org/cemetery.htm
