Richard & Lutitia/Letitia/Lucretia Dinkle Gibson/Gipson

The 1850 Federal census for the 56th Dist., Rockingham Co., VA shows Richard & Lutitia Gipson, ages 28 & 25, plus 2 daughters, Mary age 2 and Idusa at 6 mo. Ancestry.com says Richard Gibson married Lucretia T. Dinkle in Dec. 1846 & I presume this is the same couple. This may be the Richard Gibson who married Mary Miller in 1851 & had a son named William R. Gibson, Jr. who migrated to Upshur Co., WV with his mom, but not the dad whose full name is apparently William R., Sr. I have data on Jr. & mom in WV. I am seeking data on Sr., on Lutitia/Lucretia and especially anything on the daughters Mary and Idusa at anytime after the 1850 census.

Letitia is presumed to be the daughter of John & Christina Dinkle, Rockingham Co., VA. Have been unable to determine the parents/family of Richard, but would like very much to learn this. Any help, will be greatly appreciated.

Bruce
