Daniel Dinkle,born in York County, Pennsylvania, on 22 April 1793 was, according to his death record in the County Clerk's office in Charles Town, Jefferson County, West Virginia, the son of Peter & Hannah Dinkle. He died on 11 January 1871. His headstone in the Edge Hill Cemetery on Hunter Street in Charles Town reflects the same data, albeit there are places on the Internet where Daniel's death is reflected as being in 1874. His spouse, Elizabeth Fahs, died in Clarke County, Virginia about 8 years later, on 1 November 1879.
