Seeking any information on the ancestors, siblings, and descendants of Daniel Denkel and Elizabeth Meyer of Washington County Maryland. See reference in will below:
Michael Meyer of Sharpsburg, Washington County. Will dates 14 September 1785 very sick. To wife Macdolany: 100a of the old place adj. My son Michael’s 220 a for life and then to son Michael. Also my house and lot in Sharpsburg to wife and all my real estate for life, then to be sold and money to my nine children. To son Jacob: 185 a of Piles Delight, to son Adam: 172a of Addition to Piles Delight, he to pay a share to my five daughters. To son Frederick: 183 a of Piles Delight, he to pay daughters part of the value. To the children of my daughter Sary, wife of William Robertson: her share, but I William dies before Sary, she shall have her due. To daughter Barbara: household goods. All real and personal estate except the above legacies to be sold to pay funeral charges and debts, and the residue to wife and children: Michael, Jacob, Adam, Frederick, Sary Robertson’s children, (Susan?) wife of Daniel Denkel, Macedolaney, wife of George Showman, Elizabeth wife of Joseph Long, and Barbary. Wife and Daniel Dinkell executors. Witness: Henry Achhart, David Miller, Jacob Barton. Proved 29 October 1785.
