I have been following the queries about the Dunkle/Dinkle family. I too have researched Johan Daniel Dunckel from York, PA the same info you have. I am trying to locate a Mary Ann Dinkle. She was born in VA Dec. 5, 1813. She married John Detrick and moved to IN. They were married in Williamsport, MD 3/28/1833. One source mentioned siblings by the name of Ludwig, Havin, and Delia. This could be Louis, Harvey and Delilia which are children of John's. I do not know who her parents were which is what I am trying to find out. I thought she may be a daughter of John who married Christine Shroyer. Is there anyone familiar with Mary Ann. There were several Anna Marie's in the family but she went by Mary Ann.
