Karen, The reference to Hannah was in response to another posting in this forum. (As I said, I throw everything into my notes.) I'm afraid that I posted everything I could find on the Dinkles from "The Annals of the Families of Caspar, Henry, Baltzer and George Spengler". Author: Edward W. Spangler. Call Number: R929.2 qS747. The York Daily Publishing Co., 1896. This book is available online from FTM's GenealogyLibrary.com. (Subscription site.) Daniel Dinkle's will was proven Nov. 7, 1755 in Yorktown. Unfortunately misinformation (in this case that he died at sea) is often perpetuated. I am certainly no stranger to passing on incorrect information myself. I incorrectly copied marriage information for Daniel Dinkle and Anna Elizabeth Wolf from a file at the Family History Center site. Actual information that was posted: Anna Elizabeth Wolf Born: 1748; York, York, Pennsylvania Christened: First Reformed Church; York, Pennsylvania (no date given) Died: May 7, 1830; York, York, Pennsylvania Married: February 15, 1767; First Reformed Church; York, York, Pennsylvania Father and mother not listed in this file. File submitted by HARRY L. RAUB III Microfilm: NONE 2872 READING ROAD ALLENTOWN PA USA 18103 I was not able to verify the marriage information. For your information, York County, Pennsylvania, 1764-1936: Reformed Congregation of St. Paul's/Wolf's Church is online FREE UNTIL JANUARY 6, 2001 http://www.ancestry.com/search/rectype/inddbs/5293.htm You and I are sixth cousins, once removed.
