Jennifer,
I was interested in your comment on the Cherokee connection to the Dinkins family. I've been researching my brother-in-law's background and he is descended from Chapman Dinkins and Jane Warden. He is supposed to be a brother of John Henry, but I have no proof of that, nor can I find out anything about his background. I'm wondering if, in the years since your post, you may have uncovered something.
