While researching Dinkins' anscestory in Richland County SC, I came across two graves at old Salem Ch. on Ft. Jackson. The graves belong to siblings Estelle Dinkins and Woodrow Dinkins. According to 1920 census, Estelle and Woodrow were children of John Dinkins and Mary Jane Martin. Woodrow died in a car accident in 1931 and Estelle died of influenza in 1931. Both were single.
Mary Jane Martin Dinkins' death certificate has her dying in 1942 of tuberculosis. Her parents were Ed Martin and Nancy Miles. At the time of her death, John Dinkins (her husband) was still alive.
I'd like to find out more about John and his family.
If you have any information, I'd greatly appreciate it.
