I am looking for information about my father's family. His father, William August Dinkelman was born April 27, 1871, in Germany. Fred Henry Dinkelman was William's twin brother. They emigrated to the U.S. before 1900 with their father. Their mother (maiden name Voight) died in Germany before they left. They came to Stanislaus County in California because Voight relatives were already there. They were engaged in grain farming. My father, Clarence Oliver Dinkelman, was second of five children. He lived his entire life near the town of Denair in Stanislaus County. He died at the age of 80 in 1981. I would appreciate any possible connections or information about my unknown German relatives and their descendants. Carol Dinkelman Smith.
