Dingwells in the Caribbean.

Hi,i'm an 18 year old male from the caribbean island Trinidad and Tobago(not a place where you'd find a lot of Dingwells)and i've often woundered about the origin of my name.My father does not know much about it either and I was woundering if any one could help me as to wheather or not any Dingwell ever visited or setteled in the caribbean.I am of African origin but my father has told me that one of my ancestors was a white woman who would have probarly lived in the nineteen hundreds and that's all I know.I also have some cousins who carry the surname Dingwall, their physical traits comprise of light skin and greyish/greenish eyes if that would be of any help.It would really be appreciated if someone could mail me with the answer to my question,Thank you.

Yours thankfully
Aaron Dingwell
