Dear Heidi,
This is amazing!First of all the "Aunt Dora" you mentioned is my mom. I actually just found out about you a couple of days ago as your Uncle Don Banks, who is my cousin called my mom to tell her about you.He was so excited and so are we.Your grandmother was my Dad's sister and your father stayed with my mom and dad for a while when he was younger. I don't know all the details but Mom does. She actually has not done any research into the family but just knows a lot because she is 76 years old. There is only one surviving member of the 10 children you spoke of and that is our Uncle Frank who lives in Campbell River, B.C. He probably has a lot of information as well. He and Aunt Bev are the greatest people. Anyway, I could go on and on but would like to hear from you again. You can contact me at [email protected] My phone number is 204-826-2225.I live just north of Brandon and will be telling mom about this as soon as I can as I know she will be thrilled and want to know more about you. She always wondered where your dad was and hoped that one day she would pick up the phone and it would be him. That never happened but she will be so excited to have finally found him through you.
Please reply A.S.A.P.
Your second cousin,
Debbie Nykorak
