I posted the message below in January of 2000. I still have not been able to find anything specific about Garrett Dingman, born 1794-5 in Kinderhook, New York. I would like to find his wife and parents in addition to his direct lineage to the Adam Dingman from Haarlem. Any help would be appreciated!
Fred Dingman mentioned that Garrett was a brother to his Adam but the dates don't fit. I believe his Adam was born in the 1720s and my Garrett in the 1790s.
