I am looking for information on CHARLES DINGMAN born c.1844 in NY, married my ABIGAIL
(Abbie or Nabby) BUCKNAM. I find the Dingmans as a married couple on the 1880 Iowa, Sac Co, Odebolt census withthree children, Waldo age 8, Orrin 6 and Harry 4, all born in Iowa. I have her listed in my Bucknam Book as married toCharles Dingman and living in Seattle, WA but no date for residence there. She turns up once again in Centerville, Turner, SDon the 1900 census. She is now married to W. A. Ellis, the census says for 9 years. Her fourth son, Raymond Dingman, age15 born Iowa, is living with them. I'm guessing Charles died, but in WA or SD???? I recently learned he served in the CivilWar and have sent for his pension papers. Do you know this Dingman? I sure would like to learn more about them and their descendants!
