Dear Ken,
Thanks so much for the information on your Dingmans. Where was William born and do you know or suspect who his parents were? I always suspected that my Delia Dingman was related to the Dingmans who were living in the Oakland Co., MI Farmington Hills area. That was also a William who named two children Adelaide and Albert. I figured Adelia/Delia could be a contraction from Adelaide and several other given names, for that matter, including Delilah.
