I am seeking information to share about Uriah T. DINGMAN, b. Kinderhook NY, 1797; d. Enosburg Falls VT, 1872 and his wife Thankful SWEETLAND, b. 1803, d. Enosburg Falls, VT 1884. Their children were: Charles b. 1824, James b. 1826, Abijah v. 1828, Cordelia b. 1830, Orcelia b. 1833, Uriah b. 1835, Rosiina b. 1837, Almina b. 1840, Elmina b. 1841, Edna b. 1844, Sara b. 1846, Ezra b. 1848.
I would like to find the link back to Adam DINGMAN. I know it's there somewhere. Does anyone know who Uriah T. Dingman's father may be? I think it may be a Dolphus DINGMAN, perhaps a descendant of Rudolphus DINGMAN, grandson of Jacab DINGMAN and his wife Eva SWARTOUT. I live in Ontario and have access to Canadian records if anyone wants to swap research.
