In the American Genealogical-Biographical Index (AGBI) it says Sarah Dingley, maiden name Chillingsworth, was born in Mass. 161? A conflicting sentence found in "Plymouth Colony, History and People" says Thomas Chillingsworth seemed to be associated at Lynn, Sandwich, and Marshfield with John Dingley, q.v., but, contrary to some reports, Chillingsworth's daughter Sarah was not Dingley's wife. Seventeenth Century Colonial Ancestors, 1975-79, Supplement I, Page 20 states: Dingley, John (1594-1658) Mass.; married Sarah Chillingworth. Landowner Mayflower Source Records, Abstracts of the First Wills in the Probate Office, Plymouth, Page 518 Inventory of Thomas Chillingworth, (Marshfield) exhibited at court June 7, 1653, taken by John Dingley, Arthur Howland, John Russell. Am't L180. John Dingley had some connection to the Chillingworth's. I have found many John Dingley's different years. The John Dingley that I said married Sarah Chillingworth was born 1608. I have Sarah as born in 1611. I have seen in my research a Sarah Chillingworth married to a Samuel Sprague, but it said she was born in 1642. It is certainly worth sorting out and organizing the different generations of John Dingley's and Sarah Chillingworth's. Thanks for writing, I will research it further. As for the Dingley line, I found that in Salt Lake City in a history book of Dingley's. The name changes to Dineley, and Dyneley. I'll have to locate my notes and post it. I see Sarah married to William Ford quite a bit in searching. I am related to Sarah's sister Hannah Dingley that married Josiah Keen.
