Just found this site. Walter was my dad's brother. My dad was Horace he had a sister Alice who married a jeweller Fred Pearson they had no children, they lived in Great Barr and moved to Ringwood, Dorset when they retired. Alice died around 1964. There was also a brother nicknamed 'son' I think he was either divorced or separated and had 2 children Jim and Maisie. Maisie lived in Glenpark Rd and had 2 boys and a girl she died of cancer about 40 yrs ago, her brother Jim lived in Parkfield Rd and had a son again he died about 20 yrs ago. There was also another brother Syd who lived in Wright Rd he had 2 children Arthur who died many years ago and Marion who lived in Great Barr but I do not know anything about her. There was also another brother Les who lived at Perry Barr and he had a son Douglas again I do not know anything else about them. Lastly Horace (my dad) was married to Emily and lived in Raymond Rd, Alum Rock where Gran & Grandad also lived. They had 2 children Alan my brother who is now nearly 71 and lives in Derbyshire and myself June aged 64. Walter is buried with his mom & dad at Witton. My dad Horace died in 1999 aged 82.
