MELZAR-MELZER HUNT of Duxbury, s. of Thomas.
Wife ABIGAIL DINGLEY. married Aug. 4, 1814.
Mr. Hunt moved to Illinois. Was drowned, 1860.

Warren DINGLEY Son of ABNER born Duxbury MASS Sept 18, ``1795 died in Gerry Chautauqua Co NY Dec 30, 1853 He came to Gerry in Nov 13, 1816 , during the many years after he navigated the Great Lakes and was first mate on the SUPERIOR, the 2nd Steam boat on Lake Erie. He also built and was part owner of the "La Grange" of which he was Captain until his return, in 1832 to his farm in Sinclairville. He was one of the safest and most successful Captains during the early navigation of the Lakes, George DINGLEY of this town is his son, His Brother in Law, MELZAR HUNT who was also a sea Captain, settled on lot 48 in Gerry in 1817.

The HUNT lists Melzar HUNT's Father as THOMAS< if so he so probably the one born Son Thomas Susannah 1/13/1791 Duxbury, Plymouth, Massachusetts
and his family of HUNT is buried same place as the above DINGLEY;
