I too am researching the Dingley family of Halesowen. My great great great grandfather was an Ira Dingley of Cockshot, Halesowen (same area as Malt Mill Lane) but he was born in 1789. He did have a son, Ira, born in 1818, but because he is not a direct ancestor I have not investigated him further yet. If I should come across more information, as it seems likely we share a common ancestor, I will contact you if you let me have your e-mail address.
