Hi All,
I realize many years have gone by since these postings, but I was wondering if anyone had info on Johannes DINGER'S parents, Johannes DINGER & Margaretha Magdalena GAERTNERIN?
Here's what I recently found out. Johannes DINGER & his wife, Margaretha were the parents of at least two children;

Baptism/Christening Date: 09 Mar 1748
Baptism/Christening Place: Dagersheim, Württemberg, Germany
Birth Date: 09 Mar 1748
Father's Name: Johannes DINGLER
Mother's Name: Margaretha Magdalena GAERTNERIN

Name: Johannes DENGLER (same parents as above)

I found info that Catharina Magdalena DINGLER married John WEEMS. The WEEMS researchers have been looking for info on John WEEMS' wife, Kitty, for years. I don't know the source of this info, but it looks possible.
During my research, I found that my ROBERTSON line is connected to the DINGLER family. Adah ROBERTSON d/o William Brown ROBERTSON & Jemima MAYO, m Thomas P. DINGLER in 1829 Jasper Co., GA. Adah's sister, Rachel ROBERTSON, also married a DINGER but I can't locate any info, yet, on them. Adah ROBERTSON DINGLER'S line was in Georgia, Alabama & Texas.
Another of my interests comes from John WEEMS & Kitty, Greene Co., TN. They were mentioned as guardians to my John BLACKWOOD'S minor children
"2/1793, Greene Co., TN John WEEMS (Kitty) appointed guardian for orphaned children, Nancy Ann & Martha BLACKWOOD" also,
"8/1793, Greene Co., TN order of sale be issued to John WEEMS to empower him to sell the perishable estate of John Blackwood in Greene County, TN." I am assuming that there was a blood connection between the BLACKWOODS & WEEMS families, possibly John's wife, Ann (unknown surname) and Kitty (unknown surname) were related?
John & Ann BLACKWOOD'S son, Andrew C., married Susannah ROBERTSON granddaughter of Col. Charles ROBERTSON of TN. Her cousins have the DINGLER connection.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated,
