Trying to find the town in Germany where Lewis Dingler, the father of George W. Dingler, emmigrated from in the early 1800's. Lewis Dingler married Henriette Lower (or Lowler), but don't know whether they were married in Germany or met here and married. George W. Dingler married Rachel A. Springfield in Philadelphia, Pa. 1864. They had 14 childred of which only 8 lived to maturity. My grandfather was one of the children, Edward Lower (Lowler), born 1883, died 1948.
I'm trying to trace Lewis Dingler back to Germany. Any help? peace
