I am writing on behalf of my wife, Mary Beth Dingle Hunnewell. (I saw your note while scanning the Genforum.) Her father, James Edward Dingle, was the youngest of 6 children born (between 1900 and 1910 - I think) here in New York City in the Village. His father was a construction laborer and died of blood poisoning following an accident when Jim was about 12 (in the late 1910s or early 1920s). If I recall, Jim had 4 sisters and one brother, Tommy. I don't remember any more than this, so I will have to have Mary Beth write to you to see if there is a family connection.
