Hoping someone can help with the following:My g-grandmother was Elizabeth Dingle, b. Oct.1, 1870 in Cornwall, d. Nov. 1962 in Toronto. Her siblings were also all born in Cornwall and were Evelyn W. Dingle ( this is a male, pronounced eev-lin), Irwin Dingle, Lot Dingle and Doll (Dorothy) Dingle. Evelyn, Irwin and Elizabeth all came to Canada.Irwin was with the Grenadiers, and Evelyn was a Mountie. Elizabeth was a nurse in Cornwall during the Boer War. Elizabeth was never called by that name, but was called Rachael despite the fact that this is not any given name. Elizabeth married Charles Jane about 1899. He was also born in Cornwall. He came to Canada in 1906, established himself and then sent for Elizabeth and their two children, Constance and Richard. Elizabeth was pregnant with a third, Clifford, on the voyage. Her last three children born in Canada were Doll (Dorothy), Bid (Elizabeth), and George. I am searching for info on Elizabeth's parents. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Wendy Daxon
