After a brief stint Googling:

Tobias Dinger born about 1795 in
Nieder-Ingleheim, Grand Duchy, Hesse Darmstadt, Germany
died 1841
New Orleans, Jefferson, Louisiana, USA after contracting Yellow Fever.

married
Christina Schwuebunger
born 1 Sep 1803
Nieratien, Hesse Darmstadt, Germany
died 25 May 1888
Ironton, Iron, Missouri, United States

apparently Christina and the kids moved to Missouri in 1845, I can't find out why Tobias was in New Orleans alone.
