Gr grandmother Harriet Jordan Dines born
1885-March-01 Ramsgate, Thanet, Kent England.

married 1905-Dec-30 gr grandfather James Frederick Bligh born 1882-Aug-09
also born in Ramsgate,Kent Eng. Harriet had a
sister named Eva (no idea if she was younger or older than Harriet) who married a Bill Brewer from Ireland.

Gr grandfather James emigrated to Victoria,
British Columbia, Canada on the HMS Rainbow circa 1910.
cannot find any record of this military ship
on the various ship's lists I've been looking at.

Harriet emigrated in 1914 with their two children: Harriet Gertrude Frances (aka Art) and James Frederick Bligh (there were several generations of males with this name in our Bligh line.)

The Dines seem to be few and far between, I don't find many references to them. Family seems to think that Harriet Jordan Dines' father's name might have been George, but we're not positive. It's possible that Harriet's middle name is a surname, possibly her mother's surname. I don't know anything about that generation.

Anyone out there with connecting information?
