I am just wondering if there is any connection, as I have Din(n)een ancestors from Bandon or Timoleague.
Specifically, I am looking for ancestors or descendants of Patrick Dinneen (b. 1804 - d. 1882; married Hanora Condon c. 1882), who lived in Kilshinihan near Timoleague/Bandon, Co. Cork, Ireland. Patrick and Hanorah had 12 children, including my gr-gr grandfather, Michael Dinneen (b. 1846 - d. 1916, married Hannah Harris). Michael Dinneen and Hannah in turn had 11 children, including my gr-grandfather, Patrick Michael Dineen (b. Oct. 18, 1883 - d. Apr. 7, 1935; married Helena Holland c. 1908 in Indianapolis, Indiana). Patrick Michael Dineen (he spelt it 'Dineen' with one 'n') emigrated first to the Indiana, USA, and then emigrated again to Toronto, Ontario before 1911. They Dinneens still live in a farmhouse in Kilishinihan, Co. Cork.
The siblings of Patrick Dineen (b. 1804) were as follows:
