I have just received information from Limerick Archives that indicates that my great great grandparents were John Cronin and Alice Dineen of Knockaderry, Co. Limerick.
They had 3 children:
Mary, baptised Dec 24, 1843
Michael, baptised Mar 4, 1847
John, baptised July 2, 1852.
All 3 were baptised in the Knockaderry RC Church.
John and his father were shoemakers.
If this info is correct, Michael came to Chicago in 1880 and married Catherine Minahan in 1883. John also came to Chicago and was married to Ellen Gayer of Kilmeedy.
Does anyone recognise these people?
