origin of Dimock family from Woodbridge, NJ

This information came from my great aunt Irene Dimock who was married to Fred Dimock and they lived in Woodbridge NJ.

There were four brothers, one of them being Albert P. Dimock, (do not know the names of the others) that came from England in 1631 (spelled Dymoke in England) to Massachusetts colony. Albert went to Halifax Nova Scotia and married Ida Mary Boss. They had 7 children: Earle, Whitman, Julia, Blanche, Lilla and Emma; they moved to Stoneham Mass. between 1899 and 1903 and had a son, Fred Sept. 1902. Shortly after Fred was born they moved to Tottenville, Staten Island for work opportunities. They later moved to Woodbridge and joined Trinity Episcopal church in Woodbridge where many of them are buried.

anyone wishing a copy of this letter feel free to email me your address and i will mail you one.
