As far as I know, I am not related to the Dimmitt clan, but I do have an obit from 1869 for a death of Rachel Dimmitt, 22, daughter of Col. Sinclair Dimmitt which was in a Weedon family bible. They must have been friends of Weedon, Wilsons or Fristoes and atlas shows that Dimmitt families lived nearby. Would be curious if anyone knows of any family ties between the family.
