I inherited the genealogical project on the Dimmitt family of the late Dr. Richard Miller, who worked on this family for more than 40 years and did a very thorough job. The only reference I can find to the name "Biays" is to a man, first name unknown, who married Anne Gray, dau. of Zachariah and Mary (Dimmitt) Gray. This Anne was b. 1724, so about the same time as your Elizabeth. I wonder what your source may be for an Elizabeth Dimmitt who married Matthew Biays? I'm surprised I cannot find any reference to it in Dr. Miller's work, especially with the Baltimore connection, for he pretty thoroughly mined the Baltimore records. But perhaps you have some family or other source for this? Would be most interested to know!
