According to family lore, Antonio Dimeo lived on the French-Italian border in the town of Cerra Mona Ceffa (spelling may be wrong). He sailed from Naples, Italy or Marsaille, France to Ellis Island and arrived on 26 Feb, 1898. HE was 16 at the time and sailed alone. He m. Teresa Runzo on 25 January, 1905 in Blairsville, Penn. He died there on 7 May, 1947. According to his death certificate, his parents were Constance and Rosaira D'Andrea Dimeo. any help appreciated in researching this line in Italy. have looked at some Italian weblinks with no success. According to family lore, the Dimeo family is related to the Medici's of Italy. proof needed
