I have my Diment line family tree back to a marriage in 1750,I also have a record of a baptism, Elizabeth daughter of Thomas in St.Lukes, Brisslington (outskirts of Bristol)in November 1581. This appears to be where the family originated.
I have one glich, my G,G,Grandfather, John Diment b1812 (mariner) married Anne Cook 18/10/1839 in St. Phillips & Jacob Bristol. Had two children, Frederick William 12/3/1841 and Frederick John 9/4/1846 (I have certificates to varify all these facts)and they were living in Bedminster Parade, Bristol, but he then diappears off the face of the earth I have checked all the usual sorces, so if any one has any information it would be greatly appreciated.
When we first started the tree, my son and I recorded all Diment Deaths held on the fiche at the archive and I still have these, also we have a number of Births and marriages which we thought might be linked.
