I have Diments from Allington and Bridport, Dorset, from 1790s; also Richard (wife Selina) and children, Robert, John and George who were originally from there, but moved to Kent; Diments in Kent who were born there, descended from this line; Alfred, Hilda and Edith Diment, born Aston, Birmingham,around the 1900s, who descended from Bridport born Alfred; Frederick Diment, born Bridport but living Birkenhead as a young man in the 1901 census; William Diment, his brother, born about 1867, but living 1901 census Wallasey, Cheshire - on that census, he has children Victor and Dorothy, born near 1900 Liverpool - could have had more later, of course.
And many, many more...these are the ones that wandered. Anyone know what happened to them/claim them? I'd like to add to the family story, and also, I have a tree for those who would like to know the origins of these later members...
