Hello Susan,

My DILWORTH'S were from Chipping and Thornley Lancashire.

Richard DILWORTH b.c.1780 Chipping Lanc, married Alice KENION 1801 Chipping Lanc. Their son Richard b.c.1803 Chipping, Lanc, married 1824 Chipping Lanc, to Jane ECCLES b.c.1803 Lee House, Thornley Lanc, daughter of James ECCLES and Margaret CLEMINSON.

Richard DILWORTH and Jane ECCLES had about 6 children, one was my gg grandfather Jabez aka James DILWORTH b.c.1826-1831 Thornley? Lanc. He moved to Victoria Australia and married 1850s to Ann(e) HAMMOND b.c.1839 Gloucestershire.

I also have a possible connection to a James DILWORTH b.c.1830s Lancashire, the son of Richard DILWORTH and Ellen FISHER. This James seems to be related to my Jabez aka James.

Do any of these people ring any bells? TIA :)
