I would not make such a broad statement concerning the Paris/Parris families of NC. I am a direct decendant of the Paris/Parris. The Paris/Parris that I decend from is Moses Paris of Rowan Co., NC. He and his decendants are out of Baltimore Co., Maryland. After leaving NC they moved on to Clay Co. and Madison Co., Kentucky.

My line is Edward Parris - Moses Paris - Ezekiel Parris - Ezekiel Paris - James Parris - Albert Paris
