MARRIAGES:
HOWARD - DILLMAN. -- on Sept. 7, at the residence of the bride's mother, by
Robert Ramsey, Esq.Mr. M.L. HOWARD and MISS ELLA DILLMAN.
The young couple are beginning their married life under the most favorable
circumstances, and we sincerely hope that as they glide down the stream of
life, no cloud may ever darken their sky, with the exception of an
occasional light squall. On the 8th the groom's parents entertained their
friends at their home, at which many partook of a bounteous repast. The
young couple will soon commence housekeeping in Newbern, and, from the
choice each has made, we predict them a happy and prosperous future.
