According to history books on Wells Co., IN, Dillman [Post Office], IN was named in honor of Andrew Dillman, who settled there with his wife Sarah [Kilander]and family about 1868. He was s/o Andrew and Lydia [Rhorer] Dillman, who had previously lived in Brown and Clermont Cos., OH. I have quite a bit of information on this group of Dillmans if you need it.
