Do you know when Nicholas went to Canada? Or how old their son John was when they went to Canada? Do you have other children for Nicholas, or just John? I don't know who my Peter Ellis' parents where, only that he was born Nov. 30, 1854 (my mom had the place as PA in her family book she was working on) and that he married Sarah Catherine English, and died at Newmarket, Ont. Canada Apr. 29, 1926. They had 5 children. The youngest was Ellis Lyons Dillman, who had a son called John Ellis. Yes it was Dana Clement that contacted me, and she wrote that my Peter's grandfather was Nicholas, and Peter's uncle was John. That would make my Peter Ellis and your John Ellis cousins! Dana said she would dig out her info and email me.
