I think that you are referring to William A. Dillman, b 13 Oct 1838 Brown Co., OH, d 25 Apr 1920 Jasper Co., IL. He m. Mary Jane Banks, b 2 Jan 1847, d 6 Dec 1932. They had 11 children, one of them being Nora, b 1888, who m. 6 Feb 1909 Adolphus Maxwell in Jasper Co., IL. William was s/o Samuel Dillman and Sarah Hook, and gdsn of John W. Dillman and Lydia Rhorer. I have more information on this family if you need it.
