I was born in Minster, Ohio. My great great grandfather was also Herman Dillman. His son was Herman Dillman, whose son was Andrew. Andrew's son was also Herman, who was my father. Both my great great grandfather Herman and my great grandfather Herman are buried in Minster, which was founded in 1838 by Josef Stallo. The original name for Minster was Stallostown.

I don't know much about any other children in the family of the first Herman Dillman, but I will attempt to find out. I have a friend who has done much research on the history of Minster.

My father Herman died in 1997; his father Andrew died in 1970.
