As some of you already know the DP2000 website is no longer available and I have been searching for an alternative option just to maintain the interest and ensure that there is still a central point for everyone to contact etc. I have been trialing a temporary alternative through MyFamily (having been encouraged to do so by one of my US cousins) until I can afford a more permanent alternative - I am currently unemployed again. The extensive information that Larry Lieneke and I have gathered over the years is still being updated and is still available to anyone that requires it; reports can be supplied on request. We continue to offer a free exchange of information and one of the crucial elements of our project remains the active participation of members of the Dillingham family who share our interest. I have an increasing concern that a lot of material is being lost as older members of the family with good memories leave us without recording those memories. Photographs, bibles, documents, letters, memorabilia etc. are also being lost or destroyed as they take up too much space or are passed to generations that have no interest or through female lines where the significance can become more diluted. So I have started the new site called Dillingham World to allow some of this material to be recorded and shared in he hope that it will be available for future generations to see and consult. If you would like to join Dillingham World (free) you wil need an invitation and password from me as it is a private site. Please email me at dwiltsdill@aol.com and I will register you and look forward to hearing form you. Dave Dillingham Wiltshire Peterborough, England Notify Administrator about this message?
